The Swan Ball is a white-tie gala, one of the premier charity events in the United States, attended by 850 prominent middle Tennesseans and their guests. The 47th annual gala will occur on Saturday, June 13, 2009.
The Ball benefits--and is held on the grounds of-- Cheekwood Botanical Garden and Museum of Art. Cheekwood is a privately supported non-profit educational institute for the study and appreciation of the arts and botanics. It is situated on 60 acres, atop Nashville’s rolling hills, and has long served as an important cultural center and a source of educational opportunities for the families of middle Tennessee.
